Hey, i’m Alex, the owner of Tropic Water Sports. My love for the ocean began before i could even walk. In fact, I learned how to float before I ever took my first steps! Being born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, i’ve spent most of my life on or around the sea. From guiding jet ski adventures at three different businesses to becoming a dive master and participating in coral restoration and marine research — including research work in South Africa — the ocean has shaped who I am.

At Tropic Water Sports, I want to share that passion with you. Whether it’s your first time on a jet ski or you’re exploring the mangroves with your family, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, have an unforgettable time, and experience what makes the Florida Keys so special. I hope to share a little of what i’ve learned and inspire others to appreciate and protect the waters we call home.
